Inter Milan have broken their own record for most goals scored in a UEFA Europa League match, as they defeated FK Crvena Zvezda 5-1 at the Stadion Mladost on Thursday night.
The victory means that Inter have now scored a total of 28 goals in just two matches this season, eclipsing the previous record of 26 goals set by the club against BATE Borisov in the Champions League last year.
The impressive display from Inter was led by their Brazilian forward Romelu Lukaku, who netted three goals and provided an assist to help his side move top of Group H with six points.
Lukaku has been one of Inter's standout performers so far this season, scoring nine goals in just four games across all competitions. He is currently joint-top scorer in Serie A alongside Ciro Immobile, both with five goals each.
