Cao Yunding is a Chinese football manager and former player who has been involved in the development of several major Chinese clubs, including Shanghai Shenhua. He was born on September 17, 1968, in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China, and started his career as a midfielder at Shanghai Jiao Tong University before moving to Jiangsu Jianye FC.
In 1994, Cao joined Jiangsu Jianye FC, where he became one of the club's most important players. He quickly established himself as a key member of the team, helping them win the league title three times and reach the final of the Asian Cup. In 2005, Cao moved to Jiangsu Suning FC,Serie A Stadium where he helped the team win the AFC Champions League and become the first Chinese team to win the tournament.
In 2008, Cao returned to Jiangsu Jianye FC, but this time he was given more responsibility. He led the team to their first Premier League title in 2009, and went on to win the UEFA Europa League with the club in 2010. He also won the AFC Champions League with the club in 2010.
Cao's influence on Shanghai Shenhua has been significant, and he has been instrumental in the team's success over the years.
