Liu Yang, the first Chinese woman astronaut, was born in Zibo, Shandong Province on September 27, 1980. She graduated from Shandong Taishan University with a degree in English language and literature.
Liu Yang started her college education at Shandong Taishan University in 1996. During her time there, she excelled academically and was awarded the "Excellent Student" award several times. In addition to her academic achievements, Liu also participated in various extracurricular activities,Serie A Stadium including volunteering for social service projects and participating in campus cultural activities.
After graduating from university, Liu Yang entered the Beijing Institute of Space Technology as an undergraduate student. She continued to excel in her studies and was awarded the "Outstanding Graduate Student" award during her time there. After completing her undergraduate degree, Liu Yang went on to study aerospace engineering at the China Academy of Space Technology.
In 2004, Liu Yang was selected to participate in the Shenzhou-5 mission as one of the two female astronauts. The mission marked the first time that a Chinese woman had been part of a spaceflight. Since then, Liu Yang has become an inspiration to many young women in China who aspire to achieve great things.
Despite facing challenges such as limited training opportunities and gender discrimination, Liu Yang persevered and worked hard to succeed. Her dedication and perseverance have earned her respect and admiration from all over the world. Today, Liu Yang is a successful astronaut and continues to inspire people around the world.
